Established in the fall of 2015, The Korean Studies Forum is a hub for Korean Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem that aims to promote research, teaching, and cultural activities on Korean culture and society. It is committed to interdisciplinary and comparative research in Korean history, literature, film, popular culture, and politics through organizing international conferences, seminars, and symposiums for academic communities in Israel. It also aims to enrich curriculum for undergraduate and graduate students at The Hebrew University in order for the students to prepare for their future career.

The Forum administers all academic and educational activities, including student-initiated cultural activities such as dispatching students to high schools for teaching about Korea, organizing Korean language speech contest and film screenings at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, all of which are open to the public.
